Hello there, my name is Jennifer and I am a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and I specialize in helping seniors stay independent in their homes for as long as possible. I also work with families who have decided to bring their loved ones into their homes to care for them instead of having them in a nursing facility.
My first exposure to caring for a family member came from when my dad was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2003. Many years later I was the primary caregiver for my grandpa. With both of these wonderful men I learned more about them, myself and how to be an extra-ordinary caregiver. I now work for a company that provides companionship and other supportive services to help seniors age in place or provide respite for families caring for their loved ones.
I will be sharing information, tips and support for those who have found themselves in the position of caregiver or have realized that a loved one may need help.
Let’s join together in the journey of caregiving!
