A legacy of caring for others

At 91 Morrie Boogart spends his days knitting hats for the homeless.  He works on his act of love while laying in his hospital bed in hospice care.  He has knit over 8,000 caps and shows no sign of stopping.

This time of life for many is spent in contemplating their life’s accomplishments, bemoaning their fate or wallowing in misery.  I’m inspired to hear of a man who chooses to undertake a project to enrich the lives of others.
